R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Charles and Greneta Ordner of Westphalia celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Charles Ordner and the former Greneta Frenzel |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at the Church of the Visitation in |
|
|
Westphalia on that special day in 1959, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; the |
|
|
couple are both retired from Wilsonart International; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ordner count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes three children and their spouses, Dwayne |
|
|
Ordner and his wife, Joann, Cheryl Wilde and her husband, Calvin, |
|
|
and Craig Ordner and his wife, Debbie, as well as seven |
|
|
grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing the many special |
|
|
occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Charles and |
|
|
Greneta Ordner can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and |
|
|
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that |
|
|
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Greneta Ordner on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ordner as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
