R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
|
and shared experiences, and Kenneth and Enelda Niles of Waco |
|
|
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on June 19, |
|
|
2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Niles were joined in matrimony on that |
|
|
special day in 1947; through the years, they have been blessed with |
|
|
a treasured family that includes their children, Jamie and Ross |
|
|
Rogers, Tim and Marla Niles, Debbie and David Golden, and Ken and |
|
|
Candy Niles, as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 |
|
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, |
|
|
Mr. Niles is retired from the City of Waco and from the McLennan |
|
|
County Appraisal District and Mrs. Niles is retired from Graham |
|
|
Embroidery; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Niles have enjoyed six decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kenneth and Enelda Niles on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Niles as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
