R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ron and Charlessa Crittenden of Hurst celebrated
  their 50th wedding anniversary on February 8, 2007, and they may
  indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have
  shared; and
         WHEREAS, Ron Crittenden and the former Charlessa Jackson
  exchanged the vows of matrimony at Polytechnic Baptist Church on
  that special day in 1957, and over the course of their marriage they
  have found in each other a caring life partner; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Crittenden count among their blessings
  a fine family that includes their daughter, Lisa Stoker, and their
  son, Michael Crittenden and his wife, Brenda, as well as their six
  grandchildren, Erik, Emily, and David Stoker and Rachel, Matthew,
  and Daniel Crittenden; and
         WHEREAS, For half a century, Ron and Charlessa Crittenden
  have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion,
  and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ron and Charlessa Crittenden on
  their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
  wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Crittenden as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
