R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ron and Charlessa Crittenden of Hurst celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on February 8, 2007, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ron Crittenden and the former Charlessa Jackson |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at Polytechnic Baptist Church on |
|
|
that special day in 1957, and over the course of their marriage they |
|
|
have found in each other a caring life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Crittenden count among their blessings |
|
|
a fine family that includes their daughter, Lisa Stoker, and their |
|
|
son, Michael Crittenden and his wife, Brenda, as well as their six |
|
|
grandchildren, Erik, Emily, and David Stoker and Rachel, Matthew, |
|
|
and Daniel Crittenden; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Ron and Charlessa Crittenden |
|
|
have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, |
|
|
and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ron and Charlessa Crittenden on |
|
|
their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Crittenden as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
