R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ronald and Geneva Vaughan of McGregor celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on February 9, 2008, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in Franklin on that special day in 1958, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in one another a loving life |
|
|
partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, They count among their blessings a fine family that |
|
|
includes their children, Ron and his wife, Kimberly, Gena and her |
|
|
husband, Patrick, Becky and her husband, Chris, and Randy and his |
|
|
wife, Tami, as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Ronald and Geneva Vaughan have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ronald and Geneva Vaughan on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
