R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Aviation electronics technician Petty Officer 3rd
  Class Christopher Wayne Sacia of Wimberley has served his country
  with distinction as a member of the United States Navy; and
         WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, Petty Officer Sacia
  joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from Wimberley High School in
  2005; and
         WHEREAS, Supporting our naval air forces, aviation
  electronics technicians are an integral and vital part of the navy;
  Petty Officer Sacia served in Virginia Beach with Strike Fighter
  Squadron VFA-106, "The Gladiators," and he also served with
  distinction aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower as part of Strike
  Fighter Squadron VFA-103, "The Fighting Jolly Rogers"; and
         WHEREAS, Petty Officer Sacia will return in July 2009 from a
  deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and coming
  home to the Lone Star State after a prolonged period away is cause
  for celebration and joy in the heart of any native Texan; and
         WHEREAS, In answering his nation's call to duty, Petty
  Officer Sacia has demonstrated extraordinary commitment and
  bravery that is most deserving of his fellow citizens' deepest
  respect and gratitude, and it is truly a privilege to welcome him
  home; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Petty Officer 3rd Class Christopher
  Wayne Sacia for his outstanding service to his country and
  commemorate his return to the great State of Texas; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Petty Officer Sacia as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
