R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Riverside Dental Center in Waco marked the first |
|
|
anniversary of its beneficial partnership with the City of Waco and |
|
|
area health agencies on October 2, 2008; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This collaborative effort promotes oral health care |
|
|
by providing examinations, evaluations, and treatment for area |
|
|
residents who lack these services; it is supported by the resources |
|
|
of the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District and the Heart of |
|
|
Texas Community Health Center in addition to those of the city, with |
|
|
treatment being provided by Riverside's accomplished |
|
|
professionals; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Comprehensive dental care is an important component |
|
|
of overall health, and this proactive program is making a positive |
|
|
difference in the lives of numerous Central Texas residents; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Riverside Dental Center on its |
|
|
partnership with the City of Waco, the Waco-McLennan County Public |
|
|
Health District, and the Heart of Texas Community Health Center and |
|
|
extend to all those involved in this helpful initiative sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the Riverside Dental Center as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
