R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with many joyful times and |
|
meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and friends of |
|
Deby Lang of Kerrville, who died on April 20, 2009; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Lang was born in Beeville on March 6, 1957, to |
|
Gordon Alan Robbins and Virgie V. Welch; she married James Birt Lang |
|
in 1976, and they were blessed with two children; and |
|
WHEREAS, A probate officer for Kerr County, Mrs. Lang was |
|
actively engaged in her community; she was a proud member of the |
|
Daughters of the Republic of Texas and Republican Women of Kerr |
|
County; she helped with the war memorial at the Kerr County |
|
Courthouse, and she was a Knights Lady with Chapter 23 of the Blue |
|
Knights of Texas law enforcement motorcycle club; and |
|
WHEREAS, Deby Lang was a devoted wife, mother, and |
|
grandmother, and those who shared in the warmth of her love will |
|
always be deeply grateful for the time their lives intertwined with |
|
hers; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Deby Lang and extend |
|
sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her husband, |
|
James B. Lang; to her son, James W. Lang, and his wife, Cheryl; to |
|
her daughter, Shawn D. Lang; to her sisters, Tinna Miller and her |
|
husband, David, Lisa Herring and her husband, Alan, and Georgia |
|
Morgan and her husband, Ted; to her brothers, John Robbins and his |
|
wife, Leslie, and Allan Robbins; to her grandchildren, Colt Klein, |
|
Katie Klein, Michaela Callaway, Ethan Carl Lang, and Ashton Wade |
|
Lang; to her parents-in-law, Joe and Mildred Lang; to her brothers |
|
and sisters-in-law, Andy and Patty Lautzenheir, Sherry and Gary |
|
Wooton, and Joseph and Rhonda Lang; and to her other relatives and |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Deby Lang. |
