R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Citizens of Carrollton have greatly benefited from |
|
|
the dedicated leadership of Tim Hayden, who will complete his term |
|
|
on the city council in May 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his tenure in municipal government, |
|
|
Councilman Hayden has ably guided the city with an eye to the |
|
|
future, and his expertise in a range of community issues has earned |
|
|
him widespread respect; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A resident of Carrollton for 12 years, Councilman |
|
|
Hayden has further given back to his community through his |
|
|
contributions to Regional Emergency Management, the Planning |
|
|
Council of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the |
|
|
Audit and Finance Committee, and the Metrocrest Hospital Authority, |
|
|
which he has served as a liaison; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts |
|
|
of Tim Hayden have helped to make Carrollton a better place in which |
|
|
to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Tim Hayden for his committed public |
|
|
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Councilman Hayden as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
