R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ariel Harper of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto has
  attained the Gold Award, the highest commendation in Girl Scouting;
  and
         WHEREAS, To achieve this distinction, a young woman must meet
  requirements that promote community service, personal growth,
  positive values, and leadership skills; in addition, she must plan
  and implement a special Girl Scout Gold Award project of at least 50
  work hours that meets a need in her community; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Harper has proven herself to be an exemplary and
  productive member of the Girl Scouts and her community, and she may
  reflect with great pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ariel Harper on her receipt of the
  Girl Scout Gold Award and extend to her best wishes for the coming
  years; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Harper as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
