R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Holland can take well-deserved pride in the |
|
|
outstanding service he has rendered to the residents of his |
|
|
community during his decade-long tenure as superintendent of the |
|
|
Magnolia Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan has worked tirelessly to ensure |
|
|
for pupils in his district the best possible instruction and |
|
|
resources; in striving to promote student achievement and to |
|
|
advance the quality of the district's schools, he has sought to |
|
|
enlist the community's support and to collaborate effectively with |
|
|
his local school board; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to his district's |
|
|
students and staff, Michael Holland has led the way in fostering a |
|
|
supportive and challenging educational environment, one that gives |
|
|
students a vision of what can be attained by striving for success |
|
|
and that equips them with skills that will help them to build |
|
|
fulfilling and productive lives; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Superintendent Michael Holland of the |
|
|
Magnolia Independent School District for his admirable service to |
|
|
his fellow citizens and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Superintendent Holland as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
