H.R. No. 2124
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Army Specialist Tracy
  Clint Willis of San Antonio suffered an immeasurable loss with the
  death of this valiant soldier on August 26, 2007, at the age of 21;
  and
         WHEREAS, Assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute
  Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, Specialist Willis lost
  his life while bravely serving his country in Iraq; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Wilma and Darryl Willis, Tracy Willis
  attended O'Connor High School in Helotes, and his talent as an
  athlete earned him the position of free safety on the all-district
  team; after his graduation in 2004, he went on to attend East Texas
  Baptist University, where he continued his football career until
  joining the army; and
         WHEREAS, Our state and nation are fortunate to have young men
  and women whose love for their country inspires them to military
  service, yet the tragic death of this young soldier is a sobering
  reminder of the cost of war;  Specialist Willis embodied the highest
  ideals of the U.S. armed forces, and all who knew and loved him will
  forever carry him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Specialist Tracy
  Clint Willis and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his
  family: to his parents, Wilma and Darryl Willis; to his siblings,
  Hope, Crystal, Darryl and his wife, Rita, Anjelica, and Aubree; to
  his niece, Amari Willis; to his grandparents, Cruz M. Camacho, Mary
  Johnson, and Curtis Wilson; and to his other relatives and many
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of U.S. Army
  Specialist Tracy Clint Willis.
