R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Gloria Pizana Caceres has served with distinction in |
|
|
the office of State Representative Solomon Ortiz, Jr., since his |
|
|
election in 2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Active in the Corpus Christi community, Ms. Caceres |
|
|
has supported the March of Dimes and the American Heart |
|
|
Association, and she has donated her time and efforts to worthwhile |
|
|
organizations that promote research for cures and strive to prevent |
|
|
diabetes and cancer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable Texan has been involved in politics for |
|
|
more than 16 years, serving as a precinct chair, as president of |
|
|
Texas Democratic Women, and as an elections administrator; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Caceres is a valued and trusted staff member in |
|
|
the office of Representative Ortiz, and her hard work and |
|
|
dedication have helped to ensure its efficient functioning over the |
|
|
course of the legislative session; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Gloria Pizana Caceres for her |
|
|
contributions and accomplishments as chief of staff in the office |
|
|
of Representative Solomon Ortiz, Jr., and extend to her best wishes |
|
|
for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Caceres as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
