R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
  recognize the Aubrey Independent School District for the vital role
  it has played in the education of many young Texans; and
         WHEREAS, Located in Denton County, Aubrey ISD serves a small
  community in North Central Texas and is known as a "great place to
  learn"; it features Brackett and Monaco Elementary Schools, Aubrey
  Middle School, and Aubrey High School, and its mascot is the
  chaparral; and
         WHEREAS, A progressive school district that focuses on
  student achievement, Aubrey ISD has helped its students excel in
  the areas of athletics, artistic and cultural endeavors,
  agriculture, and civic service, as well as academics, and more than
  half of its pupils participate in state competitions each year;
  moreover, the district's efforts are enhanced by the support and
  dedication of area citizens; and
         WHEREAS, Aubrey ISD is preparing its students for the
  challenges and opportunities of the future, and its efforts are
  contributing to the greater good of the Lone Star State; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the Aubrey Independent School District and
  extend to its faculty, staff, and students sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Aubrey ISD as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
