R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Four employees from North Loop Elementary School in
  El Paso worked together to save the life of a woman and aid her
  family during a house fire on April 1, 2009; and
         WHEREAS, When a house went up in flames near the school, a
  seven-year-old North Loop student called to the school custodians
  for help; and
         WHEREAS, Thinking quickly and working together, Rafael
  Camacho and Everardo Chacon broke a window and went inside to rescue
  a woman from the burning house; and
         WHEREAS, Meanwhile, Rita Espinoza called 911 and comforted
  the little girl, while Lorena Gonzales assisted other family
  members fleeing the house; and
         WHEREAS, For their bravery and compassion, Mr. Camacho, Mr.
  Chacon, Ms. Espinoza, and Ms. Gonzales have been recognized with
  certificates from the El Paso Fire Department, and they may indeed
  take pride in their swift and selfless action to aid a family in
  need; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Rafael Camacho, Everardo Chacon, Rita
  Espinoza, and Lorena Gonzales for their courageous efforts on April
  1, 2009, and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the rescuers as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
