H.R. No. 2201
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
  recognize Moctezuma Zuniga, Jr., of McAllen for his outstanding
  work as a legislative assistant in the office of State
  Representative Chente Quintanilla; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, "Monte" Zuniga has had an
  opportunity to learn more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing the citizens of the Lone Star State, and he has
  brought a high level of enthusiasm, commitment, and care to every
  task; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Moctezuma and Nelda Zuniga, Mr. Zuniga
  graduated from James "Nikki" Rowe High School, and he went on to
  attend The University of Texas--Pan American and to study abroad at
  the Menendez Pelayo International University in Sevilla, Spain; he
  later transferred to St. Edward's University in Austin and was a
  member of the pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta fraternity, and he
  is receiving a bachelor's degree in political science and
  international relations in 2009; this fine young Texan also
  completed an internship with the Hidalgo County Office of the
  Criminal District Attorney in 2007; and
         WHEREAS, With skill, perseverance, and dedication, Mr.
  Zuniga has made invaluable contributions to the State of Texas
  during the current session, and he may indeed look forward to a
  rewarding future; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Moctezuma Zuniga, Jr., for his service
  as a legislative assistant in the office of State Representative
  Chente Quintanilla and congratulate him on his graduation from St.
  Edward's University; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Zuniga as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
