R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Hurta has provided valuable support to the |
|
|
office of Representative Diana Maldonado as an intern during the |
|
|
81st Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born in Houston to Susan and Bruce Hurta, Mr. Hurta |
|
|
graduated from Lamar High School and is currently studying |
|
|
government at The University of Texas at Austin; his keen interest |
|
|
in political affairs is also expressed through his work as a blogger |
|
|
with the Burnt Orange Report; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hurta has handled numerous responsibilities in |
|
|
Representative Maldonado's office; over the course of his |
|
|
internship, he has enhanced his knowledge of the legislative |
|
|
process, and he hopes to return to the Capitol for the 82nd |
|
|
Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Michael Hurta has performed his duties with skill, |
|
|
perseverance, and dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a |
|
|
rewarding future; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Michael Hurta for his contributions to |
|
|
the office of State Representative Diana Maldonado and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hurta as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
