R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Michael Hurta has provided valuable support to the
  office of Representative Diana Maldonado as an intern during the
  81st Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Houston to Susan and Bruce Hurta, Mr. Hurta
  graduated from Lamar High School and is currently studying
  government at The University of Texas at Austin; his keen interest
  in political affairs is also expressed through his work as a blogger
  with the Burnt Orange Report; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Hurta has handled numerous responsibilities in
  Representative Maldonado's office; over the course of his
  internship, he has enhanced his knowledge of the legislative
  process, and he hopes to return to the Capitol for the 82nd
  Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Michael Hurta has performed his duties with skill,
  perseverance, and dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a
  rewarding future; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Michael Hurta for his contributions to
  the office of State Representative Diana Maldonado and extend to
  him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Hurta as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
