R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Army Specialist |
|
Joshua Alexander Molina of Houston have suffered an immeasurable |
|
loss with his death in Iraq on March 27, 2008, at the age of 20; and |
|
WHEREAS, Joshua Molina attended Bellaire and Elsik High |
|
Schools and was a member of the ROTC; after graduation, he fulfilled |
|
a longtime ambition to serve his country when he enlisted in the |
|
army; and |
|
WHEREAS, Specialist Molina hoped to one day attend college |
|
and become an agent with the Border Patrol or FBI; he is remembered |
|
for his joyous appreciation of life, his deep affection for his |
|
family, and his gift for making people laugh; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to duty and honor, |
|
Joshua Molina embodied the highest ideals of the United States |
|
armed forces, and the blessing of his life will be forever treasured |
|
by those who were privileged to share in the warmth of his love and |
|
friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Army Specialist |
|
Joshua Alexander Molina and extend sincere sympathy to the members |
|
of his family: to his mother and father, Maria Molina and Josue |
|
Molina; to his sister, Paola Fredrickson; to his brother, Manuel |
|
Molina; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of U.S. Army |
|
Specialist Joshua Alexander Molina. |
