R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Crane Gulf Federal Credit Union is celebrating 51
  years of business in 2009; and
         WHEREAS, Chartered in 1958, the credit union was originally
  created to meet the financial needs of Gulf Oil Company employees;
  today, it serves nearly 1,000 individuals throughout Crane and
  Upton Counties and has assets totaling $3.3 million; and
         WHEREAS, Crane Gulf Federal Credit Union benefits from the
  efforts of manager and board member Chris Petree, employees Malissa
  Heredia, Jessica Cadena, and Rosanna Medina, supervisory committee
  chair Teresa Clark, and board members Debby Cowden, Tony Jones, Ed
  Gallion, Joe McCarty, Ricky DeGraffenreid, and Susan Frank; and
         WHEREAS, For more than half a century, Crane Gulf Federal
  Credit Union has given exceptional service and provided hardworking
  citizens with financial assistance to realize their dreams, and its
  anniversary provides a fitting opportunity to recognize its
  contributions to the community; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Crane Gulf Federal Credit Union on
  its 51st anniversary and extend to all those associated with the
  establishment best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Crane Gulf Federal Credit Union as an expression of
  high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
