R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Loved ones were deeply saddened by the tragic |
|
passing of Keith Calpito of El Paso on March 8, 2009, at the age of |
|
35, yet the memory of his rewarding life may offer a measure of |
|
comfort in their time of loss; and |
|
WHEREAS, Keith Calpito was born on June 10, 1973, to Anita |
|
Calpito and the late Gary Calpito; he treasured his family, |
|
including his daughter, Ariana, his brother, Kenneth, and his |
|
nephew, Eli; and |
|
WHEREAS, An employee of Best Wrecker Towing, where he had |
|
made a number of good friends, he was also an avid motorcycle |
|
enthusiast, and nearly 700 fellow bikers attended his memorial |
|
service and followed the funeral procession; and |
|
WHEREAS, His many other interests included low-riders and rap |
|
music, 4x4 trucks and country music, and tattoos and rock music; and |
|
WHEREAS, While his time on this earth was far too brief, Keith |
|
Calpito lived life to the fullest, and he will long be remembered |
|
for his passionate, energetic spirit; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Keith Calpito and |
|
extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his mother, |
|
Anita; to his daughter, Ariana; to his brother, Kenneth; to his |
|
nephew, Eli; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Keith |
|
Calpito. |
