R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Donald and Carol Ann Tindell of Robinson celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on July 19, 2007, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Donald Tindell and the former Carol Ann Davis |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Waco on that day in 1957, and |
|
|
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a |
|
|
loving life partner; Mr. Tindell is retired from ATK, and Mrs. |
|
|
Tindell is a homemaker; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Tindell count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their children, Terri and Ron Tindell, |
|
|
Brenda King, Terri Howard, and Julie and Steven Tindell, with whom |
|
|
they share the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Donald and Carol Ann Tindell |
|
|
have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, |
|
|
and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Donald and Carol Ann Tindell on |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Tindell as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
