R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned nearly |
|
|
half a century, Jack and Rita Boozer of Woodway celebrated their |
|
|
45th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boozer exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
at the First Methodist Church in Abilene on that special day in |
|
|
1962, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each |
|
|
other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boozer count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two children and four grandchildren, with |
|
|
whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; the |
|
|
couple retired after 25 years in the jewelry business from Boozer |
|
|
Jewelers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past decades, Jack and Rita |
|
|
Boozer can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know that |
|
|
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more |
|
|
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jack and Rita Boozer on their 45th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Boozer as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
