R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to |
|
|
recognize Emily Blair Watler for her exemplary work as an intern in |
|
|
the office of State Representative Carol Kent; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, As an intern, Ms. Watler has gained firsthand |
|
|
knowledge of the governmental process and work experience in a |
|
|
political environment, as well as insight into the issues facing |
|
|
our communities and our state today; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Blair Watler exhibited an |
|
|
unsurpassed level of dedication, enthusiasm, and care to every |
|
|
task, from studying legislation to meeting with constituents to |
|
|
maintaining needed necessities for the proper functioning of the |
|
|
office, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her |
|
|
notable efforts; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Watler has made invaluable contributions to the |
|
|
State of Texas; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Blair Watler for her service and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Watler as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
