R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family-owned and operated businesses are an |
|
|
indispensable part of the economy and culture of the Lone Star |
|
|
State, and Chela's Fiesta Bar and Restaurant in San Antonio has |
|
|
joined this rich tradition with its grand opening in April of 2009; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Restaurant owners Maricela and Ricardo Rocha |
|
|
started Chela's in Mexico City, and this opening represents their |
|
|
first location in San Antonio; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Serving both traditional Mexican fare as well as |
|
|
Tex-Mex favorites, Chela's also features Mexican-style seafood; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The richness and diversity of the culinary culture |
|
|
of San Antonio and Texas depend on the hard work and innovative |
|
|
spirit of restaurateurs such as the Rochas, and they are indeed to |
|
|
be commended for their new enterprise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize Maricela and Ricardo Rocha on the |
|
|
grand opening of Chela's Fiesta Bar and Restaurant and extend to |
|
|
them sincere best wishes for success and happiness; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the Rochas as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
