R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Brianna Brackens of Fairfield is commemorating a |
|
|
special milestone in her life on June 4, 2009, for on that day she |
|
|
graduates from the Texas School for the Deaf; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her three years at TSD, Ms. Brackens has |
|
|
remained dedicated to her course work, and she has developed her |
|
|
talent in her two favorite sports as a member of the basketball and |
|
|
track teams; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Brackens has developed a circle of devoted |
|
|
friends with her outgoing, friendly personality; in the coming |
|
|
months, she plans to attend Houston Community College to study |
|
|
cosmetology; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Graduation marks the beginning of a new and exciting |
|
|
chapter in Ms. Brackens' life, and it is indeed fitting that she be |
|
|
recognized for her noteworthy achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Brianna Brackens on her graduation |
|
|
from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Brackens as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
