R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Travis Whetsell has provided indispensable support |
|
|
to the office of State Representative Terri Hodge as an intern |
|
|
during the 81st Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 2006 graduate of Texas State University, he is |
|
|
continuing his education with plans to obtain his master's degree |
|
|
in public administration; he has been a correspondent for the Texas |
|
|
Legislative Service and a canvasser for TexPIRG, as well as a |
|
|
substitute teacher; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his work in Representative Hodge's office, |
|
|
Mr. Whetsell has had an opportunity to learn more about issues of |
|
|
concern to citizens of the Lone Star State as he contributed to the |
|
|
legislative process and benefitted the constituents of House |
|
|
District 100, and it is a pleasure to recognize him for his |
|
|
achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Travis Whetsell for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terri |
|
|
Hodge and extend to him best wishes for success in all his future |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Whetsell as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
