R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Paul |
|
Dexter Hollabaugh of Waxahachie, who passed away on March 8, 2009, |
|
at the age of 71; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on November 15, 1937, to Marshall and Mary Lou |
|
Hollabaugh in El Centro, California, Dexter Hollabaugh graduated |
|
from Waxahachie High School and married the former Mary Lou Knott in |
|
1959; the couple were blessed with a daughter, Kellie, and shared 47 |
|
rewarding years of marriage before Mrs. Hollabaugh passed away; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hollabaugh worked for the Texas Department of |
|
Transportation for 49 years and remained a loyal fan of Waxahachie |
|
High School football throughout his life; in addition, he was a |
|
member of the Ellis County Master Gardener Association and an avid |
|
bass fisherman; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dexter Hollabaugh lived a full and purposeful life, |
|
and he will always be remembered with great admiration and |
|
affection by those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Paul Dexter |
|
Hollabaugh and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his |
|
family: to his daughter, Kellie Roberts, and her husband, George; |
|
to his nephew, Ron Hollabaugh; to his niece, Bonnie Shook; to his |
|
fiancee, Sue Rosebrock; and to his other relatives and friends; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dexter |
|
Hollabaugh. |
