R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kari Kuykendall took top honors in two livestock |
|
|
categories at the Ellis County Youth Expo in April of 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A freshman at Midlothian High School, Ms. Kuykendall |
|
|
is a member of the Midlothian FFA; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This impressive young woman earned the first place |
|
|
ribbon in the competition for European breeds and then won grand |
|
|
champion overall with her black Angus steer, Forrest, named for the |
|
|
character Forrest Gump; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Kuykendall has demonstrated outstanding |
|
|
dedication and ability in raising her champion animal, and she may |
|
|
indeed take great pride in her hard work and determination; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kari Kuykendall on her victories at |
|
|
the 2009 Ellis County Youth Expo and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Kuykendall as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
