R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 81st Legislature, David Puentes has ably |
|
|
served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Diana Maldonado; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A Round Rock native, Mr. Puentes graduated from |
|
|
Stony Point High School in 2007, and he is studying political |
|
|
communication and broadcast journalism at The University of Texas |
|
|
at Austin; his disciplined approach to his assignments as an intern |
|
|
and his ability to excel in a broad range of duties proved extremely |
|
|
helpful to Representative Maldonado's office throughout the 2009 |
|
|
session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Puentes has contributed to the workings of state |
|
|
government firsthand; in addition to enhancing his knowledge of the |
|
|
legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |
|
|
State, he has gained valuable work experience in the field of public |
|
|
service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This dedicated young man has performed his duties as |
|
|
a legislative intern with skill and determination, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend David Puentes for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Diana |
|
|
Maldonado and extend to him warmest best wishes for great success in |
|
|
all his future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Puentes as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
