R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned a |
|
|
quarter-century, Jimmy and Karen Patterson of Midland celebrated |
|
|
their 25th wedding anniversary on May 5, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Jimmy Patterson and the former Karen Cichon |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at St. Mary's Catholic Church in |
|
|
College Station on that special day in 1984, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life |
|
|
partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Patterson count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes three children, Jennifer, Kelsey, and |
|
|
James, with whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions |
|
|
of life; Mr. Patterson is online editor for the Midland |
|
|
Reporter-Telegram and director of communications for the Diocese of |
|
|
San Angelo; Mrs. Patterson is a case manager for the U.S. Bankruptcy |
|
|
Court; the couple are members of St. Ann's Catholic Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 25 years, Jimmy and Karen |
|
|
Patterson can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know |
|
|
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many |
|
|
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jimmy and Karen Patterson on the |
|
|
occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Patterson as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
