R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Marion and Sidney Boyce of Amarillo celebrated their
  50th wedding anniversary on February 14, 2009, and they may indeed
  reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
  and
         WHEREAS, Marion Boyce and the former Sidney Johnston Gressett
  exchanged the vows of matrimony at Grace Baptist Church in Amarillo
  in 1959, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in
  each other a loving life partner; Mr. Boyce is a semiretired cement
  contractor; Mrs. Boyce works with Jack B. Kelley, Inc., and was
  previously employed with Amega Industries in Longview; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boyce count among their blessings a
  fine family that includes their children, Duane Boyce, Johnny
  Boyce, and Rebecca Ovalle and her husband, Marcus, as well as eight
  grandchildren, Jacklyn, Jake, Aaron, Denai, Miranda, Jessie,
  Brandyn, and Toni, and five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jaycee,
  Kason, Eden, and Malachi, with whom they share the many special
  occasions of life; and
         WHEREAS, For half a century, Marion and Sidney Boyce have
  brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
  is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Marion and Sidney Boyce on the
  occasion of their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them
  sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Boyce as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
