R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses play a vital |
|
|
role in the prosperity of the Lone Star State, and Classic-Tyler |
|
|
Motors of Tyler is celebrating the grand opening of its new |
|
|
Mercedes-Benz dealership on May 28, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since 1994, Classic-Tyler Motors has been a leader |
|
|
in new and used automobile sales in Northeast Texas, and the company |
|
|
employs more than 200 area Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Already the local dealer for Toyota and Scion, |
|
|
Classic-Tyler is expanding its business to sell new and used |
|
|
Mercedes-Benz automobiles, providing an even greater variety of |
|
|
products and services to its customers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By creating jobs and helping to strengthen and |
|
|
diversify the economic environment of Tyler, Classic-Tyler |
|
|
Mercedes-Benz is sure to have a positive impact on its community; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Classic-Tyler Motors on the grand |
|
|
opening of its new Mercedes-Benz dealership and extend to the |
|
|
company and its staff sincere best wishes for success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Classic-Tyler Mercedes-Benz as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
