R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Clarissa Ramon has provided indispensable support
  to the office of Representative Roberto Alonzo during the 81st
  Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, A participant in the Moreno/Rangel Legislative
  Leadership Program, Ms. Ramon has managed her many daily
  responsibilities in an exceptional manner, demonstrating a
  commitment to excellence and the perseverance to overcome any
  challenge brought before her; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Ramon earned her bachelor's degree in political
  science from St. Mary's University, where she was active in the Phi
  Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity and served as a delegate to the Model
  Organization of American States; in addition, her exceptional
  academic performance earned her membership in Pi Sigma Alpha
  Political Science Honor Society; and
         WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has also gained valuable
  work experience as an intern with the San Antonio District
  Attorney's Office and through her employment as a bank teller and
  lab assistant; and
         WHEREAS, Clarissa Ramon has performed her duties in
  Representative Alonzo's office with skill and dedication, and it is
  most fitting to take this opportunity to recognize her; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Clarissa Ramon for her outstanding
  service as an intern in the office of Representative Roberto Alonzo
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  of her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Ramon as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
