R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Reverend Dr. Harvey L. Hollmon is celebrating 60 |
|
|
years in the Baptist ministry on September 20, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan provides outstanding spiritual |
|
|
leadership to the congregants of Alta Mesa Park Baptist Church in |
|
|
Dallas, where he has been the pastor for a quarter of a century; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through the decades, Dr. Hollmon has served his |
|
|
congregations with compassion, conviction, and generosity, and his |
|
|
enduring commitment to the ministry and to his community of faith |
|
|
remains a source of inspiration and guidance for numerous Dallas |
|
|
residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Dr. Harvey L. Hollmon |
|
|
of Alta Mesa Park Baptist Church on the occasion of his 60th |
|
|
pastoral anniversary and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Hollmon as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
