R E S O L U T I O N
 
         BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of
  Texas, 81st Legislature, Regular Session, 2009, That House Rule 13,
  Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13,
  Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
  resolve the differences on House Bill 3612, relating to the
  creation of a pilot program that allows taxpayer appeals from
  certain appraisal review board determinations in certain counties
  to be heard by the State Office of Administrative Hearings, to
  consider and take action on the following matter:
         House Rule 13, Sections 9(a)(1) and (2), are suspended to
  permit the committee to change and omit text which is not in
  disagreement in SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 2003.902,
  Government Code, by deleting Dallas County, which was included in
  both the house and senate versions of the bill, from the counties in
  which the pilot program created by the bill is to be implemented, so
  that the section reads as follows:
         Sec. 2003.902.  COUNTIES INCLUDED. The pilot program shall
  be implemented in Bexar, Cameron, El Paso, Harris, Tarrant, and
  Travis Counties for a three-year period beginning with the ad
  valorem tax year that begins January 1, 2010.
         Explanation: This change is necessary to remove Dallas
  County from the counties in which the pilot program created by H.B.
  No. 3612 is to be implemented.
