R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, July 25, 2009, signals the beginning of a new
  chapter in the lives of Ellen Gale and Caleb Troxclair, for on that
  day they will exchange their wedding vows and embark on a rewarding
  journey together as husband and wife; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Gale and Mr. Troxclair will be joined in
  matrimony in the garden of Wine & Roses Hotel and Spa in Lodi,
  California; sharing in the celebration are their parents, Rex and
  Susan Gale and Noel and Mary Troxclair, as well as the bride's
  brother, Brien, and the groom's sisters, Caitlin and Caneel, and
  nieces, Clair and Sadie June; and
         WHEREAS, The two met in the office of State Representative
  Phil King, where he worked as a legislative aide and she served as
  an intern; when the timing was right, Mr. Troxclair proposed on
  bended knee at a chapel in San Antonio that will forever hold a
  special place in their hearts; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the
  groom is now director of operations in Representative King's
  office; he plans to attend St. Mary's University School of Law in
  the fall; the bride earned her bachelor's degree from The
  University of Texas and is deputy chief of staff in the office of
  Representative Betty Brown; and
         WHEREAS, This blessed event will mark a profound deepening of
  a relationship that has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard
  with each passing day, and it is truly a pleasure to honor this
  special couple; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ellen Gale and Caleb Troxclair on
  the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them warmest best
  wishes for a lifetime of happiness together; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the bride and groom as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
