R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, July 25, 2009, signals the beginning of a new |
|
|
chapter in the lives of Ellen Gale and Caleb Troxclair, for on that |
|
|
day they will exchange their wedding vows and embark on a rewarding |
|
|
journey together as husband and wife; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Gale and Mr. Troxclair will be joined in |
|
|
matrimony in the garden of Wine & Roses Hotel and Spa in Lodi, |
|
|
California; sharing in the celebration are their parents, Rex and |
|
|
Susan Gale and Noel and Mary Troxclair, as well as the bride's |
|
|
brother, Brien, and the groom's sisters, Caitlin and Caneel, and |
|
|
nieces, Clair and Sadie June; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The two met in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Phil King, where he worked as a legislative aide and she served as |
|
|
an intern; when the timing was right, Mr. Troxclair proposed on |
|
|
bended knee at a chapel in San Antonio that will forever hold a |
|
|
special place in their hearts; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the |
|
|
groom is now director of operations in Representative King's |
|
|
office; he plans to attend St. Mary's University School of Law in |
|
|
the fall; the bride earned her bachelor's degree from The |
|
|
University of Texas and is deputy chief of staff in the office of |
|
|
Representative Betty Brown; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This blessed event will mark a profound deepening of |
|
|
a relationship that has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard |
|
|
with each passing day, and it is truly a pleasure to honor this |
|
|
special couple; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ellen Gale and Caleb Troxclair on |
|
|
the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them warmest best |
|
|
wishes for a lifetime of happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the bride and groom as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
