R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Ariel Chipman of Spring Hill High School in Longview
  earned great distinction by qualifying for the 2009 University
  Interscholastic League Academic State Meet in Austin on May 25 and
  26, 2009; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Chris and Ginger Cerio, Ms. Chipman
  is currently completing her junior year at Spring Hill;
  representing her school at the 2009 UIL District Meet, she excelled
  in competition and qualified to advance to state in the Literary
  Criticism category; and
         WHEREAS, To perform at the highest level in statewide
  academic competition requires not only skill and intellect but also
  exceptional dedication, and Ms. Chipman may reflect with pride on
  this notable achievement; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Ariel Chipman for qualifying for the
  2009 UIL Academic State Meet and extend to her sincere best wishes
  for continued success and a bright future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Chipman as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
