R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to |
|
honor Michael Hutson for his outstanding work as an intern in the |
|
office of State Representative Norma Chavez; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in April 2006, Mr. Hutson |
|
has gained firsthand knowledge of the governmental process and |
|
experience in a political environment, as well as insight into the |
|
issues facing our communities and our state today; in addition to |
|
assisting with constituent matters and at committee meetings, he |
|
has worked on events in the El Paso district office; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hutson earned his bachelor's degree in history |
|
from The University of Texas at Austin, and he plans to begin his |
|
studies at the Villanova University School of Law in Pennsylvania |
|
in the fall of 2009; a National Hispanic Scholarship winner, he is a |
|
member of the Austin chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor |
|
Society; and |
|
WHEREAS, Michael Hutson has brought skill, dedication, and |
|
enthusiasm to his work for House District 76, and it is most fitting |
|
to recognize him for a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Michael Hutson for his service as an |
|
intern in the office of State Representative Norma Chavez and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Hutson as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
