R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Joseph "Sib" Abraham, Jr., was named Outstanding |
|
|
Senior Lawyer at the Law Day Dinner and Awards Presentation hosted |
|
|
by the El Paso Bar Association on May 9, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An attorney in private practice, Mr. Abraham |
|
|
practices in the areas of administrative hearings, auto accidents, |
|
|
civil tax litigation, criminal appeals, and criminal tax |
|
|
litigation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Law Day Dinner provides an opportunity for |
|
|
members of the El Paso Bar Association to honor lawyers and others |
|
|
for their professional achievements, service to the legal |
|
|
profession, and contributions to their community, and Mr. Abraham |
|
|
is a most deserving recipient of this impressive accolade; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated efforts, Sib Abraham has |
|
|
garnered the respect and admiration of his colleagues, and he may |
|
|
take justifiable pride in his accomplishments; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Joseph "Sib" Abraham, Jr., on being |
|
|
named the 2009 Outstanding Senior Lawyer by the El Paso Bar |
|
|
Association and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Abraham as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
