R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lee Shapleigh was named Outstanding State Attorney |
|
|
at the Law Day Dinner and Awards Presentation hosted by the El Paso |
|
|
Bar Association on May 9, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Shapleigh is the division chief of the |
|
|
Environmental Crime, General Counsel, and Land Use and Subdivision |
|
|
Plat Compliance units in the El Paso County Attorney's Office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Law Day Dinner provides an opportunity for |
|
|
members of the El Paso Bar Association to honor lawyers and others |
|
|
for their professional achievements, service to the legal |
|
|
profession, and contributions to their community, and Ms. Shapleigh |
|
|
is a most deserving recipient of this impressive accolade; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated efforts, Ms. Shapleigh has |
|
|
garnered the respect and admiration of her colleagues, and she may |
|
|
take justifiable pride in her notable accomplishments; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lee Shapleigh on being named the |
|
|
2009 Outstanding State Attorney by the El Paso Bar Association and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Shapleigh as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
