R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carlos Hernandez was named the Outstanding Pre-Law |
|
|
Student at the Law Day Dinner and Awards Presentation hosted by the |
|
|
El Paso Bar Association on May 9, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hernandez, who is enrolled at The University of |
|
|
Texas at El Paso, was honored with the Cori A. Harbour Pre-Law Award |
|
|
for his scholastic achievements and community service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Law Day Dinner provides an opportunity for |
|
|
members of the El Paso Bar Association to honor lawyers and others |
|
|
for their professional accomplishments, service to the legal |
|
|
profession, and civic contributions, and Mr. Hernandez is indeed a |
|
|
worthy recipient of this accolade; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through hard work and perseverance in the pursuit of |
|
|
his goals, Carlos Hernandez has garnered the respect of his mentors |
|
|
and peers alike, and he may indeed look toward a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carlos Hernandez on being named the |
|
|
2009 Outstanding Pre-Law Student by the El Paso Bar Association and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
