R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
|
and shared experiences, and the Reverend Dr. Robert H. Crilley and |
|
|
Virginia Ann Crilley of Waco are celebrating this joyous milestone |
|
|
in their marriage on July 11, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Crilley and the former Virginia Ann Ruffin |
|
|
met at Princeton Seminary, where they were both studying for the |
|
|
ministry; they were joined in matrimony in 1959 at Princeton |
|
|
University Chapel, and through the years, they have been blessed |
|
|
with a treasured family that includes three children and seven |
|
|
grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since exchanging their vows, the couple have served |
|
|
as a source of inspiration and faith to all who know them, and they |
|
|
have made a positive difference in many lives; respected members of |
|
|
their community, they have resided in Waco for 20 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Crilley have enjoyed half a century of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Dr. Robert H. Crilley |
|
|
and Virginia Ann Crilley on their 50th wedding anniversary and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. and Mrs. Crilley as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
