R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Residents of Richardson have greatly benefited from |
|
the dedicated leadership of Rhea Allison during his four years of |
|
service on the city council; and |
|
WHEREAS, After earning a bachelor's degree in education from |
|
Midwestern State University, Mr. Allison worked for Universal |
|
Forest Products and is currently employed with J. P. Hart Lumber |
|
Company; since he was elected to Place 2 on the city council in |
|
2005, he has served as the council liaison to the Library Board and |
|
as a member of the Richardson Revitalization Awards Committee; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Allison is a devoted husband and father, and he |
|
is also active in St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of |
|
Columbus Council No. 8954 and Mother Teresa Assembly No. 2506, and |
|
the University Estates North Homeowners Association; and |
|
WHEREAS, Rhea Allison is an outstanding public servant, and |
|
his achievements have helped to make Richardson an even better |
|
place in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Rhea Allison on his service as a member |
|
of the Richardson City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Allison as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
