| WHEREAS, Residents of Richardson have greatly benefited from | ||
| the dedicated leadership of Rhea Allison during his four years of | ||
| service on the city council; and | ||
| WHEREAS, After earning a bachelor's degree in education from | ||
| Midwestern State University, Mr. Allison worked for Universal | ||
| Forest Products and is currently employed with J. P. Hart Lumber | ||
| Company; since he was elected to Place 2 on the city council in | ||
| 2005, he has served as the council liaison to the Library Board and | ||
| as a member of the Richardson Revitalization Awards Committee; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Allison is a devoted husband and father, and he | ||
| is also active in St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of | ||
| Columbus Council No. 8954 and Mother Teresa Assembly No. 2506, and | ||
| the University Estates North Homeowners Association; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Rhea Allison is an outstanding public servant, and | ||
| his achievements have helped to make Richardson an even better | ||
| place in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Rhea Allison on his service as a member | ||
| of the Richardson City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes | ||
| for continued success and happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Allison as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
