R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lori Bratcher has been named the 2009 Elementary |
|
|
Teacher of the Year by the Weatherford Independent School District; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Bratcher earned a degree in elementary education |
|
|
from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, and since then she |
|
|
has acquired 16 years of classroom experience; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A fifth-grade teacher at Curtis Elementary School, |
|
|
Ms. Bratcher inspires in her students a love of learning that places |
|
|
them on the path to a bright and rewarding future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, There is no more important work than educating the |
|
|
children of Texas, and Lori Bratcher is indeed deserving of |
|
|
recognition for her commitment to excellence in this demanding |
|
|
profession; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lori Bratcher on her selection as |
|
|
the 2009 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Weatherford |
|
|
Independent School District and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Bratcher as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
