A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to access to cemeteries; providing for penalties. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 711.012, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) The Texas Funeral Service Commission by rule shall |
|
|
establish penalties to enforce Section 711.041. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Not later than December 1, 2009, the Texas |
|
|
Funeral Service Commission by rule shall adopt penalties as |
|
|
required by Section 711.012(c), Health and Safety Code, as added by |
|
|
this Act. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
