A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the naming of the Texas Department of Public Safety |
|
|
Garland Laboratory in Garland as the Representative Fred Hill |
|
|
Center for Forensic Analysis. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 411, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 411.0206 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 411.0206. REPRESENTATIVE FRED HILL CENTER FOR FORENSIC |
|
|
ANALYSIS. The Texas Department of Public Safety Garland Laboratory |
|
|
located at the Department of Public Safety Regional Headquarters in |
|
|
Garland is named the Representative Fred Hill Center for Forensic |
|
|
Analysis in honor of former Texas State Representative Fred Hill. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
