SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 98
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
recognize Natalie Luisa Ortega on the occasion of her |
|
quinceañera; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A ninth-grader at Clear Brook High School, |
|
Natalie is a very conscientious and determined student; she was |
|
selected to be a member of the National Honor Society for |
|
Secondary Schools because of her scholarship, leadership, and |
|
character, and the Duke University Talent Identification Program |
|
recognized her as one of the most capable seventh-graders in the |
|
program's 16-state region; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Natalie has established herself as a well-rounded |
|
young woman, participating in a wide variety of activities; she |
|
has sung in the school choir and played volleyball, and she |
|
currently studies dance, debate, Spanish, and computer graphics |
|
in addition to her basic schoolwork; she maintains a position on |
|
the honor roll; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An exemplary young woman and a high achiever, |
|
Natalie has planned well for her future; she plans to attend |
|
college and study law or journalism; her notable achievements in |
|
school are evidence of her dedication and outstanding abilities; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|
Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Natalie Luisa |
|
Ortega on the occasion of her quinceañera and extend to her best |
|
wishes in all her future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
