SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 125
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Paul Benjamin Keele, Jr., on the grand occasion of his
  80th birthday; and
         WHEREAS, This distinguished gentleman is well known for
  his warmth and generosity of spirit, and he is a respected
  citizen of San Angelo; and
         WHEREAS, Paul Benjamin Keele, Jr., was born in El Dorado on
  February 13, 1929, to Paul B. Keele, Sr., and LaFayette Keele; a
  graduate of Lubbock High School, he earned a pharmacy degree from
  The University of Texas and practiced his profession for many
  years in Big Spring and Midland; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Keele married Ellen Coats on July 28, 1950,
  and the couple raised three children, who have blessed them with
  10 grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, A devout Christian who practices his faith in his
  daily life, Mr. Keele has served as an elder and a preacher for
  the Church of Christ; during his working years he spent countless
  weekends and vacations traveling from place to place and church
  to church, sharing his testimony and his love with all those he
  met; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout his life, Mr. Keele has been dedicated
  to the service of others, and he has always been an exemplary
  father and provider for his family; and
         WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of his community,
  Mr. Keele is noted for his courage, his wisdom, his compassion
  for others, and his enthusiasm for living each day to the
  fullest; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
  Legislature, hereby commend Paul Benjamin Keele, Jr., on a life
  well lived and extend to him best wishes for a memorable 80th
  birthday; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
