SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 264

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to welcome representatives of Leadership Northeast Tarrant Class of 2009, who are traveling to Austin to visit the State Capitol and learn more about state government; and

WHEREAS, Leadership Northeast Tarrant provides its members opportunities to gain insight into significant public issues and to visit leaders who make crucial decisions on policies that affect the public; and

WHEREAS, Participants in Leadership Northeast Tarrant are concerned citizens who have shown outstanding leadership abilities and a commitment to work with others with a common goal of building a better community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st Legislature, hereby commend members of Leadership Northeast Tarrant Class of 2009 for their dedication to civic responsibility and extend best wishes to all for a productive and memorable visit to Austin; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for these outstanding citizens as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
