SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 292
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Dr. Paul I. Rubin on the occasion of Texas Dental |
|
|
Association Day, February 25, 2009; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Rubin is a board-certified pediatric dentist |
|
|
and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry; |
|
|
he earned his dental degree from The University of Texas Health |
|
|
Science Center in San Antonio and completed his pediatric |
|
|
dentistry residency and internship at Baylor College of |
|
|
Dentistry; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He has considerable experience in hospital |
|
|
dentistry and has worked extensively with special needs children |
|
|
through his efforts at Children's Medical Center and Texas |
|
|
Scottish Rite Hospital for Children; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A compassionate caregiver, Dr. Rubin works |
|
|
closely with his patients' parents and often with pediatricians |
|
|
and other physicians in order to best provide the total health |
|
|
care necessary for the well-being of a child; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Active in his profession and in his community, Dr. |
|
|
Rubin was a cofounder of the Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental |
|
|
Society, participates in the North Dallas Dental Society's "Give |
|
|
Kids A Smile," and serves on the Executive Board of the Texas |
|
|
Academy of Pediatric Dentistry; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Rubin was selected as a Super Dentist for the |
|
|
last four years by Texas Monthly and as one of the Best Dentists |
|
|
in Dallas for the last two years by D Magazine; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend Dr. Paul I. Rubin on his outstanding |
|
|
work as a pediatric dentist and on his many contributions to his |
|
|
community and extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
him as an expression of high esteem from the Texas Senate. |
