SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 529
         WHEREAS, The Reverend Jack A. Crane and the members of
  Truevine Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth have made
  significant contributions to the well-being of their community; and
 
         WHEREAS, Committed to providing fellow residents with
  information and skills to help them attain healthier lifestyles
  and add years to their lives, Truevine partnered with the
  American Heart Association as a Search Your Heart program campus; and
 
         WHEREAS, Participants attended bimonthly classes and
  walking clinics over the course of nine months, learning how to
  minimize their risks for heart and kidney disease and stroke and
  to develop heart-healthy habits; and
 
         WHEREAS, Truevine's health ministry has received a $2,000
  grant in recognition of its outstanding efforts to benefit its
  members and neighbors and to ensure the continuation of this
  important program; and
 
         WHEREAS, It is appropriate to take this opportunity to
  congratulate the church and the participants on the success of
  their Search Your Heart efforts and to call on others to follow
  their noteworthy example; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
  Legislature, hereby commend the clergy and congregants of
  Truevine Missionary Baptist Church for participating in the
  American Heart Association's Search Your Heart program and extend
  to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for the church as an expression of high regard from the
  Texas Senate.
